is an academic and research group integrated by academics and
scholars of the University of Deusto and other European and American
Universities, as well as other legal professionals.
Their
members teach at graduate and postgraduates programs, giving to their
lessons a special Transnational approach.
Trans-Law fields of research, teaching and
legal advising are Private International Law, Transnational Trade,

Scholarships to study for ADR
Programmes in Rome and Hamline (USA)
The Gertrude Ryan – University of Deusto Chair
will award a number of scholarships to highly qualified last year students
of the Deusto Law School in order to follow an intensive ADR Programme in
Rome (25 May – June) and an ADR Course in Hamline – USA (June-July 2009).

Intensive Programme
10-19 September 2009,
University of Deusto, Bilbao, Spain (Language: English)
This Intensive Programme has the following title “Recent
Developments and Challenges of Transnational Law” and has been designed as
a three years edition Programme (2007-2009).
On September 2009, will take place the third edition. The
academic staff of this Programme is integrated by Professors and Lecturers
of 18 leading European universities as well as prestigious legal
professionals and members of local, national and international

Intensive Programme
The School of Law
in cooperation with its European Partners has developed the Second Edition
of the Intensive Programme entitled “General Problems of Transnational Law and its
Implications for the Companies in International Trade”. This
year’s edition has taken place from 17 to 26 September 2008.
This course implies the recognition of 5 ECTS
credits to all the successful participants.

Erasmus Mundus Master Programme
The European Master in Transnational Trade
Law and Finance (EMTTLF)is a flexible, semester-based, international,
multi-site Programme. The course contains 120 ECTS credits that the students will
follow in two academic years and in three of the four participating
institutions: Deusto School of Law (Bilbao, Spain), Tilburg
University (Tilburg,
Netherlands), Institute
of Law and Finance (Frankfurt, Germany), and Strasbourg
University (Tilburg, Netherlands).

Trans-Law in
cooperation with the School
of Law has organized many
academic activities since 2005: Two Seminars on ADR, a Congress on Consumer
Law, Series of Lectures about Transnational Law, a Seminar on Judicial
Cooperation in the EU, a Seminar on European Competition Law and many other
